Lauren M. DaValle joined Odelson, Murphey, Frazier & McGrath, Ltd. after spending nearly a decade with the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office. As an Assistant State’s Attorney, Lauren prosecuted hundreds of misdemeanor, domestic violence and traffic violations. She participated in all stages of criminal prosecutions from felony charging decisions to preliminary hearings to litigating felony motions, bench and jury trials.

Lauren graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 2007 with a double major in Public Administration and Urban Planning. She then attended the John Marshall Law School where she received her Juris Doctorate in 2010. Upon graduation from law school and prior to her work in public service, Lauren was an Associate with Odelson, Murphey, Frazier & McGrath, Ltd. She returns to the firm concentrating her work in public employment, ordinance and resolution preparation, and State and Federal litigation.

Lauren is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and the Justinian Society of Lawyers. She is a volunteer with the peerWISE program at Lurie Children’s Hospital.  She has been recognized by the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin as one of the Class of 2023 Forty under 40 Illinois Attorneys to Watch.
