Lauren Plahm is a 2005 graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology. She received her law degree in 2008 from Quinnipiac University School of Law in Hamden, Connecticut. She is a member of the Illinois Local Governmental Lawyers Association.
Lauren is the village prosecutor for a number of municipalities, which involves the prosecution of traffic violations and local ordinance violations. She is the hearing officer for administrative hearings of parking violations, building code violations, and ordinance violations for various municipal clients.
Lauren also serves as a hearing officer for school disciplinary hearings, and is presently an assistant village attorney for several municipalities.
