Sean McGrath is an associate attorney with Odelson, Sterk, Murphey, Frazier & McGrath, Ltd. After graduating from Brother Rice High School, he received his undergraduate degree from Wabash College with a degree in History. He earned his Juris Doctorate from John Marshall Law School in 2019, where he served as Editor-in-Chief for the John Marshall Law Review. During law school, Sean worked as a 711-licensed law clerk for OSMFM, Ltd.
Sean focuses his practice in the areas of litigation, municipal law, and election law. Before joining the firm, Sean was an associate attorney for a prominent boutique civil ligation firm. He handled cases in a variety of practice areas including torts, civil rights, administrative review, and employment.
Sean is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association. He is admitted the practice in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Sean recently co-authored the article, Easy as ABC?: The Misclassification of Gig Workers as Independent Contractors, which was published in the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association 2021 Summer Edition of the Trial Journal.
